The man involved in a stand-off with police on Saturday pleaded not guilty in Rochester City Court Monday Morning.
Keith Williams was in a house on Peck Street when police were called to the area. A witness told a 911 dispatcher that Williams waved a gun at them before going inside.
Williams is the main suspect in a shooting that took place last Thursday on North Goodman Street where a 28-year-old Rochester man was shot. That victim was treated and released from the hospital.
After a brief stand-off with police, Williams surrendered when swat teams showed up. He’s charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Williams is due back in court on June 7.
