ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) — The man who deputies said was intoxicated when his vehicle went off the road and through a concrete barrier in Henrietta, killing one of his passengers, has pleaded guilty.

Jordin Campbell accepted a plea deal on Tuesday to aggravated vehicular homicide.

Campbell’s car was mangled after the crash in January that killed 22-year-old Anthony Mykins. Another passenger and Campbell suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

Investigators said Campbell simply failed to make the turn on Clay Road and his car went off the roadway, through a concrete barrier that separates the Walmart parking lot and I-390, before coming to a rest on the side of the highway.

Tests showed Campbell was drunk at the time of the crash. The incident followed another drunk driving arrest for Campbell in Geneseo in 2018.

Campbell is scheduled to be sentenced in July. Campbell will remain free until he returns for sentencing.
