The City of Rochester is celebrating the grand opening of a student-run restaurant in Village Gate.
The Rochester Youth Culinary Experience has joined forces with the Culinary Program at East High School to open a new eatery, called RYCE. The restaurant is run completely by culinary students who graduated from East High School last year.
The menu features a fusion of Caribbean cuisine and soul food.
RYCE will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sundays.
