A man, out on parole, was arrested after troopers said he led them on a chase.
Troopers say Jason Granville, age 32, was wanted on a parole violation when they tried to stop him on Upper Falls Boulevard for a normal traffic stop Thursday evening.
Instead of pulling over, troopers say Granville led them on a pursuit down several city streets. Responding troopers were able to stop Granville’s vehicle using spike strips on Clifford Avenue.
He was arrested without further incident, troopers say. We’re told state parole officers responded to the scene.
