Small plane crashes south of Oswego

A small plane crashed Thursday in the City of Fulton, just south of Oswego.
The pilot, identified as Michael Simpson, 50, was not seriously hurt.
Police aren’t yet sure what caused the crash, but there were reports the plane lost power and Simpson tried to make an emergency landing on a street. The wing of the plane clipped a telephone pole, then flipped and crashed onto its side.
No one else was hurt.
