Six people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital on Thursday after a Brockport school bus collided with a mini-van in the Town of Clarkson.
Crews were called to West Ridge Road at Gallup Road around 8:45 a.m. for the incident.
Authorities tell News 8 there were two kids on the bus at the time of the crash. Both students, the school bus driver, the bus monitor, the driver of the van and a passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Deputies say the van was stopped at the stop sign on Gallup Road trying to make a left-hand turn onto Ridge Road when it pulled out in front of the bus that was headed east on Ridge.
The mini-van driver was ticketed for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign.
We’re told the bus was taking students from Brockport to BOCES Creekside School in Fairport.
