It was a busy night for Rochester Police, responding to three violent incidents in three hours.

At 11:30 p.m. Friday, police were called to 139 Gillette Street where they found a 29 year old man stabbed in the upper body.  His wounds are not considered life threatening.   No arrests have been made.

Just before midnight, they responded to a call for shots fired at 407 Thurston Road.  They found a 27 year old man outside who was shot in the lower body.  He was transported to Strong.  His injuries are also not life threatening.

And at around 2:30 a.m., police were called to the Speedway gas station on 440 Lake Avenue for a reported carjacking.  A 29 year old man and 41 year old woman, both of Rochester, were threatened at gunpoint, and their car was stolen.

About 45 minutes later, police spotted the red Honda C.R.V. on the west side of the city.  Police gave chase along Route 104 toward the east side of the city, before the suspect got out and tried to run.

32 year old Richie Marcano, of Rochester, is facing several charges:  Robbery 1st, Grand Larceny 4th, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, Resisting Arrest, and several traffic violations.   Marcano was on parole for weapons charges and police say the gun was recovered.
