Security guard justified in shooting man at Cedarwood Towers in Rochester

Rochester, NY (WROC) – A grand jury has ruled that a security guard at an apartment complex in Rochester was justified when he shot a man in January.

The shooting happened at Cedarwood Towers on East Main Street.

The security guard shot Bradley Thomas after Thomas began fighting and threatening others, including the guard. Thomas later died from his injuries.

The security guard’s name has not been released.
