The Rochester police officer involved in an alleged road rage incident made another court appearance on Monday.
According to Brighton police, Officer Michael Cantu was charged with menacing after pulling a gun on a woman on April 6 while he was off-duty. He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on April 18.
Cantu’s attorney tells News 8 his client never pulled a gun during the incident.
He is due back in court on June 17 when a trial date is expected to be set.
Rochester police say Cantu has been placed on leave until the investigation is complete.
