ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police officials say one person was injured after a rollover crash on the city’s west side Wednesday morning.

Authorities say officers responded to the intersection of Mount Read Boulevard and Lyell Avenue for the report of a two-vehicle crash with people trapped shortly before 8 a.m.

According to police, officers arrived and found one person that needed to be extricated from her vehicle by the Rochester Fire Department.

Officials say that woman was treated at the scene by AMR Ambulance and was not hospitalized.

Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation, adding that one of the vehicles involved is owned by the City of Rochester and was being operated by a City of Rochester employee.
