Rochester’s most eligible bachelors auctioned off

25 of Rochester’s most eligible bachelors were auctioned off on Friday at the Ninth Annual Gilda’s Guys Bachelor Auction.

It was a fundraiser aimed at raising money for the free cancer support programming offered at Gilda’s Club Rochester. 

Date packages were valued over $300 and included a restaurant gift card, salon services and more. 

“It’s really important for Gilda’s Club because of the number of people that attend and really it’s so many demographics our bachelor’s range in age from 23 to 61 so we have people of all ages here ready to bid ready to have a good time and ready it raises funds it raises awareness we’re really just spreading the word about what we do for the community,” said Johannah Lester, Gilda’s Club director of events and communications.

Gilda’s Club Rochester is a non-profit organization that provides emotional and social support to people living with cancer and their families.
