Rochester woman arrested for using state credit card on personal bills

According to the New York Inspector General’s Office, a Rochester woman was arraigned on the charge of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree for using a state-issued credit card for personal cell phone charges, college tuition and personal car insurance.

Lyntessa Lewis, 46, spent $1,188.38 in unauthorized personal charges while employed as a Developmental Assistant for the State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) in Brighton.

Lewis was arraigned Wednesday on the charge in the Brighton Town Court and was released pending her reappearance in court on October 29.
