As predicted: a snow storm hit the ROC.
As he watched from inside his home, William Lewis knew it was time to bring out his trusted shovel.
“I looked outside, saw the snow and it was getting deeper. I didn’t see it going down at all,” exclaimed Lewis.
And it didn’t. About 12 inches of snow completely covered his driveway this morning. But as a true Rochestarian, he put his snow- shoveling game face on.
“It will probably take me about 40 minutes. This is my exercise for today,” he laughed.
While some people are shoveling their driveways, others are dusting off their cars, digging out their cars, and some might need a third person.
“I had o take a break because my fingers got really cold,” said Dr. Cory Lenherr, a physician.
Visiting from Massachussets, Dr. Lenherr bought a shovel just in the nick of time – yesterday.
She’s not letting the snow freeze her cheery spirit.
“I used to have a garage though, and that was much easier,” she added.
“Another day in paradise,” laughed John Panzica
And if we could only all be as optimistic as Panzica, snow plow driver. He’s been working since 3am
“I knocked it off first thing this mornig, but these are retail businesses and they have to be plowed out,” explained Panzica
So whether you drive a snow plow or are freeing yourself from the snow’s confinement:
You’re all winter warriors. You go you!
