Two Rochester men are facing charges after a reported robbery in Hornellsville, with one facing a kidnapping charge.
Troopers were called to the Seneca Manor Apartments in the town of Hornellsville on Monday for the report of a robbery. Inside an apartment, investigators found a 31-year-old man who had been tied down with bed sheets and threatened.
Troopers arrested 19-year-old Deangelo Phillips, of Rochester, in the case. He is charged with kidnapping and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Another man, 35-year-old Detric Marshall, also of Rochester, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Troopers say both men have been working as drug deals in the Hornell area for several months.
Phillips is being held in jail on $50,000 bail. Marshal is being held on no bail.
