Rochester students had the chance to visit Isaac Heating and Cooling Tuesday morning.
A dozen high school students from Edison Tech had the opportunity to tour the facilities of Isaac University. The program was set up by Isaac Heating and Cooling to engage with students who are interested in learning a trade.
Vice President and General Manager Eric Knaak says it’s important to make students familiar with the skill trades while they’re in school.
He says, “They don’t hear about it as commonly as they might for other career opportunities that are out there. And there are tremendous opportunities within the skill trades and HVAC. So we’re just trying to do our part, working with Edison Tech, to help get them that exposure.”
This is Isaac’s third year running the explorer program.
