Rochester man pleads guilty to 2016 Wolff St. murder

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the death of a woman.

Prosecutors say 33-year-old Erick Omar Figueroa beat and strangled Catherine Everdyke to death between October 22-24, 2016.

Everdyke’s body was wrapped in blankets with blunt force trauma at the corner of Wolff Street and Rogers Avenue.

Figueroa to will serve 20 years to life in prison. He will be sentenced on Dec. 19.
