The bad roads and dangerous driving conditions didn’t stop some Rochesterians from enjoying their weekend plans.
Many people who live around the corner from Park Ave decided to walk to their favorite bar or restaurant instead to make the most of their Saturday.
“Just the blue wolf has an excellent beer list and the comraderie of everyone coming together during a storm. We’re gonna play some games and have a nice cozy night,” said Devon Cottle.
These upstate New Yorkers are used to braving this weather, and didn’t let it affect their normal routine.
“I guess I’m kind of cynical a little but in terms of oh it’s Rochester we’re gonna get snow we always get snow. Hopefully they get the plows out and nobody gets hurt or antyhing but I don’t think it’s as bad as some of the past years that we’ve had,” said John Graham.
Everyone’s plans after their nights out? Heading back to the warmth of their homes; and enjoying their snowy Sundays indoors.
“We’ll probably go have a drink or 2 over at the local watering hole here and then probably just cozy up for the rest of the evening,” said Serge Weiss.
The governor urges everyone to stay off the roads for unnecessary travel, and if you do need to go out, take it much slower than usual.
