A Rochester church is hoping to break a world record next month.

The Asbury First United Methodist Church on East Avenue is inviting members of the public to join the world’s biggest game of hopscotch. The church says they need at least 650 players to break the Guinness World Record.

The attempt will take place Thursday, August 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the church’s Block Party on East week.
