Rochester accountants office brings in therapy dogs to help workers de-stress

Local News

CPAs at the Bonadio Group got a reprieve from the busy tax season in the form of some new four-legged friends.

The group’s Wellness Committee arranged for volunteers from Lollypop Farm to bring therapy dogs to the firm’s Rochester location.

The pups provided a welcome distraction to the team during this busy time.

“Clearly, it’s a busy time a year for accountants,” explains Taylor Brodell, HR and benefits manager. “This is a time where everyone is working really hard and we want to make sure you find the time to take a mental break and take a physical break. Step away from your desk, step away from your computer. Come down and take a moment to connect to someone in your office and pet a dog for a little bit.”

Team members in Buffalo, Albany, and Syracuse can also expect a visit from furry friends this week.
