A Greece man was sentenced today to twelve years for an assault that happened in April in the Town of Greece.
In December, Robert Lee Brooks, 35, pleaded guilty to Assault in the First Degree for stabbing his long-term girlfriend.
The domestic dispute was witnessed by good Samaritans who called the police. The neighbors had confronted Brooks, who then fled the scene.
Officers of the Greece Police Department tended to the victim before locating and arresting Brooks.
Brooks was sentenced by Supreme Court Justice Judith Sinclair. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney William Gargan.
