Rochester City Ballet will host a Masquerade Ball this Saturday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m. at Artisan Works in Rochester.
Meghan McGuire of Nixon Peabody, a corporate sponsor for the Masquerade Ball, and Peter Base, an Rochester City Ballet member, discussed the event Tuesday on News 8 at Noon.
McGuire, who is also the co-chair for the Masquerade Ball, said the event is back this year by popular demand. The Rochester City Ballet’s young professionals group, The Good Pointe Society, has planned a night of elegant intrigue for those who dress to impress.
All proceeds will support the Rochester City Ballet. It’s also night for young people to connect with the ballet. Ticket prices are $60 pre-sale, $70 at the door, and $500 for a group of 10. Admission includes unlimited wine and beer provided by Constellation Brands, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and dancing with music by DJ Flex.
