November is National Adoption Month, and to bring awareness to the 120,000 children in foster care, RAPA is presenting Annie: The Musical.

In partnership with Children Awaiting Parents, or CAP, a portion of the proceeds from the play will go to benefit the non profit organization.

For 45 years, CAP has helped more than 6,000 children find their forever home through adoption.

“It brings the kids together and they learn the story of Annie and they understand how important it is for children to have stable, permanent, loving homes. It makes a big difference,” said Sandra Frankel, chairperson for CAP.

Annie: The Musical kicks off this weekend, November 18 at 7:30 on the Kodak Center’s Main Stage.

It runs until November 26. Click here for ticket information.
