Empire State Development is announcing Rolen-Jinxin Technologies North America will establish its first U.S.-based facility in Monroe County.

The company — a manufacturer of railcar parts — will renovate a vacant building on Becker Road in Henrietta and is set to create 44 full-time jobs.

The project is supported by Finger Lakes Forward — the region’s economic development plan.

David Parr, managing director at Rolen-Jinxin, released the following statement:

After weighing multiple options in various States, we chose to locate in West Henrietta, due to the level of support from New York State through Empire State Development and Monroe County Economic Development groups.

We feel the availability of a highly skilled work force, proximity to engineering schools and a skilled supply base will enable Rolen-Jinxin to provide industry leading components to the rail industry.
