The Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside, located in downtown Rochester is now under new management and ownership.
Rochester-based property development company, MC Management will operate the hotel. The ownership group consists of local developers Robert Morgan, David Christa, Thomas Masaschi, and Angelo Ingrassia.
The hotel will no longer operate under the Radisson brand, but instead, be run as a private brand and renamed the Rochester Riverside Hotel.
MC Management officially took over operations on October 20. The company already features
the Strathallan Hotel and Spa and Hyatt Regency Rochester.
“The building is such an important piece of property as it relates to the revitalization of downtown Rochester,” says Jay Rettberg, Regional Director of Operations for MC Management. “The Riverfront feature and its direct connectivity to the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center make it a critical piece in Rochester’s future and its impact in the region.”
MC Management says no immediate changes are taking place at the Rochester Riverside Hotel, but a renovation is planned for the future. The hotel will continue to operate at current staffing levels and previously booked events will commence as scheduled. The hotel will also continue to take bookings for future weddings and other events.
The Rochester Riverside Hotel offers 460 guestrooms and 30,000 square feet of meeting and
event space. An indoor skyway conveniently connects the hotel to events at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, while a complimentary airport shuttle takes guests to and from the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC).
