ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) — Organizers unveiled the poster for this year’s Lilac Festival on Wednesday.

The poster, created by Rochester artist Alison Coté, depicts a mother and her child enjoying the lilacs at Highland Park.

Speaking of the lilacs, at Wednesday’s poster release, Monroe County Parks horticulturist Mark Quinn said the winter and spring conditions should make for a “fantastic show of color” in May.

The Lilac Festival will feature more than 80 acts over ten days at Highland Park. The festival runs from May 10 to May 19.
