Police have identified the law enforcement officers who they say fired their guns in the shootout with murder suspect Terrell Blake Wednesday. A total of 13 Rochester police officers and one Monroe County Sheriff’s deputy discharged their weapons after Blake crashed his van into a fence and refused to comply with police orders. Blake was killed.
Earlier, Blake shot at law enforcement during a chase after he allegedly murdered his ex-girlfriend, and shot two others, including his own son.
Police say the following officers were involved in the shootout. They have been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of internal investigations at their respective agencies. That is standard procedure.

*Officer John Woicyk, age 27, 2-years of service with RPD
*Officer William Minks, age 30, 1 year of service with RPD
*Officer Harry Scorse, age 31, 1 year of service with RPD
*Deputy Paolo Saieva, age 27, 5-year veteran of MCSO
