A man has died after a crash Monday afternoon on Empire Boulevard. Now, the other driver involved is facing drunk driving charges.
Police say 54-year-old Roger Cook, of Webster, was pulling onto Empire Boulevard from Gravel Road, when his vehicle was hit by another vehicle driven by 33-year-old Lindsay Szuba. The crash happened around 2:50 p.m. on Monday.
Cook was seriously injured in the crash and later died at the hospital.
Officers say an investigation found Szuba’s vehicle was headed north on Empire Boulevard when it crossed the center line and hit Cook’s vehicle head-on.

Now, Szuba is facing charges including DWI, vehicular manslaughter, and other traffic offenses.
The Monroe County District Attorney’s office says Szuba can face 2.5 to 7 years in prison depending the outcome of the investigation.
Szuba is being held in Monroe County Jail on bail: $7,500 cash/$10,000 bond.
