GREECE, N.Y. (WROC) — A Greece man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he hit a parked police car on Monday night just before 11 p.m.

According to the Greece Police Department, 67-year-old Charles Fulkerson was arrested and charged with DWI and other traffic violations.

Police said Fulkerson was driving westbound on English Road when he struck a parked unoccupied patrol car.

Because of the force of the collision, the patrol car struck another unoccupied parked car in a nearby driveway.

The police officer was responding to a call in the area and left the police car parked on the shoulder of the roadway under a lit street light with its parking lights on.

Fulkerson suffered minor injuries and was released at the hospital with an appearance ticket.
