Parents push for more playgrounds in city’s comprehensive plan

Local News
Community organizations along with parents and children are pushing to create safer places for children to play in Rochester.
The effort is being led by the Healthy Kids Coalition and Play-Rocs campaign.
They’re using hundreds of post cards to urge city council members to put kids first in the city’s comprehensive plan update.
In addition to safer place spaces the groups want to slow down traffic and ensure children of all ages and abilities have an accessible place to play.
