Crews spent hours searching the waters in Sodus Bay after police say a man drunkenly drove his boat into a breakwall early Tuesday morning.
Cory Donk, 23, is charged with boating while intoxicated.
According to state police, Donk and a passenger left an “establishment” by boat around 1 a.m. They then crashed into the east breakwall.
When crews arrived, only Donk remained at the scene. Crews spent hours searching for the passenger and eventually found him unconscious near the breakwall. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with a few scrapes on his chin.
