A set of outdoor bar chairs sold at Lowe’s are being recalled after hundreds of reports of the chairs breaking, causing serious injuries.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the legs of the chair can become detached from the center post at the weld, posing a fall hazard.

The company has already received over 450 reports of the chair legs breaking, resulting in ten reports of injuries including head injuries, broken ribs, bruising, and scrapes.

About 315,000 of the affected chairs were sold in sets of four for about $700, at Lowe’s stores nationwide and lowes.com from November 2008 to August 2016

The affected chairs were sold under the allen + roth brand Safford model, and Garden Treasures brand Lakeview model. The chairs have a brown, aluminum frame and beige sling fabric cover

Consumers should immediately stop using the chairs, and contact 3i Corporation for a free replacement base and repair kit.

3i Corporation can be contacted at 866-267-7772 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online at lakeview-safford.com.
