‘Operation warm’ provides students with coats in Greece

Local News
Greece students won’t be without warm coats this winter, thanks to the Greece community. More than 350 Greece students will receive free winter coats in the coming weeks.
Some of those coats were handed out today at Brookside Elementary School. Kids also got a free hat and a pair of gloves to go with their coats.
The Greece Fire Department was part of this effort.
“To try and give back to the community, show the kids we are friendly,” said David Cantabene of the Ridge Road Fire District. “We are there for them, way for the fireman to give back to the community. ”
The Greece program is part of a national initiative called operation warm, which has given new winter coats to millions of children throughout the country.
