One of the victims in Henrietta bar fight was suspect in Boys and Girls Club shooting

Local News

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that one of the three stabbing victims after Sunday morning’s brawl at a Henrietta brawl was acquitted on charges in the Boys and Girls Club shooting.

Deputies say Michael Mathis Jr. was stabbed during the fight Sunday morning at Schramrock’s. Deputies were called to the bar on Park Point Drive after firefighters called for help after they responded for a report of an overcrowded bar.

Investigators say the situation became chaotic with dozens of people fighting.

Mathis was arrested after the shooting at the Rochester Boys and Girls Club in 2015 that left three people dead, but he was eventually acquitted on the charges.
