The Bergen Fire Department responded to a house fire on Creamery Road in the Town of Bergen Monday morning.
First responders say that nobody was home at the time of the fire, and the owners were on vacation.
According to emergency crews on scene, a neighbor called the fire in, saying they saw heavy smoke.
A second alarm was called when crews arriving on scene noticed flames through the windows.
According to the fire chief, approximately 17 departments responded to the scene, including departments from Monroe, Orleans, and Genesee Counties.
The Bergen Fire Chief said the fire was contained to the south side of the house, with smoke damage extending to the middle of the house.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire and the cause is unknown.
