A Brockport business, Nichols’ Auto Service, that had been around since 1956 had a grand reopening on Saturday after it suffered damage from a fire earlier this year.
During the fire, the owners lost a tow truck and other equipment, but thankfully no one was hurt.
Today, the owners, Robin and Scott Waller, took a moment to say thank you to all the first responders and people who helped them get back on their feet.
“The community was fabulous, two days worth of people flowing into our door, asking what can we do, I’ve got Windex, I’ve got paper towels, where can we start? What can we do? Just people really came to our door and really show what Brockport is all about and this community is all about.”
The owner of BBT Construction came in to help the Wallers repair the fire damage.
