The New York Wine and Culinary Center is re-branding.
The center has changed its name to “New York Kitchen.” The reason for the change? Official say it’s to show people from across the state that they’re keeping up with new food and drink trends.
News 8 is told, “Given all of the changes that have occurred, now craft spirits are important, craft food producers are important, the local phenomenon that people want to eat food that was grown and produced locally. These are all new phenomenons that in actuality no one heard of that in 2006 when we built this.”
The kitchen will be hosting a craft brew and barbecue fest to celebrate the change on June 23.
