New York extends health care deadline

Local News

A Federal Judge ruled Saturday, that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.

This comes after a Trump-era change in the Federal Tax Law eliminated penalties for Americans who did not have insurance before the imposed deadline.

The new ruling does not affect the current enrollment year but, Democrats are promising to challenge the judges findings.

New York offers an extended deadline date. If you have not enrolled in a health care plan you can do so by December 31, 2019.
