The Churchville Board of Trustees visited the new firefighter training facility on Monday evening to see how it’s used and what each firefighter goes through.
The facility is located on Washington Street in Churchville and was built in just the past couple of years thanks to grants the village received.
Deputy Chief Andrew Vargo tells us what sets this facility apart from others.
“We tried to make it as different and as modern as possible compared to the ones around the county and just outside the county. Several other departments have asked for the blueprints just something you know you’re always trying to make bigger and better.”
Vargo tells us this training facility is a little bit more involved when it comes to set up, however that allows the training difficulty to be customized.
