Local News

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Local Republican lawmakers are raising concerns about recent issues at DMVs in Monroe County.

According to Monroe County Clerk Jamie Romeo, certain types of appointments are booked a month out.

Lawmakers introduced several initiatives they say could help with flow there. They include safely reopening mobile DMV offices -introducing an appointment confirmation and cancellation system- and allowing drive in appointments.
