Monroe Community Hospital is getting a new executive health director.
If she is confirmed, Colleen Rose will be the first woman to lead the hospital. Rose currently serves as the deputy executive director at the hospital. She will take over for Gene Larrabee, who’s retiring.
“Gene I am inspired by your creativity and never settling for the status quo. Thank you for believing in my abilities and investing in my professional growth,” said Rose.
Rose will take on her new role in June, pending confirmation by the Monroe County Legislature. Monroe Community Hospital is a county-owned skilled nursing facility.
