Every year, Monroe County employees raise money for the United Way of Greater Rochester and this year is no different.

Tuesday, the 2018 United Way Campaign kicked off. This year’s goal is to raise $275,000. County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo says the campaign is a true testament to the spirit of giving.

“Every person in the County of Monroe matters,” says Dinolfo. “And that’s why we support United Way. We have a goal in this community to make lives better, to improve the lives of our residents in our community.”

This year, to honor its 100th anniversary, ESL will match all new and increased donations to the United Way, up to $500,000.
