‘Mommy City’ sale underway in Henrietta

Local News

Twice a year, parents in the Rochester area have a chance to stock up on things their kids need and save a lot of money in the process.

The Mommy City spring time sale is going on right now in the former Circuit City building in Henrietta. More than 40,000 items are available: Everything from gently used clothing to toys and other gear.

The co-owner of the sale says this is something parents should really take advantage of.

“I think it’s important to re-use these items that families need,” says Jason Hayslip, Mommy City. “I also think it gives people a real opportunity to come out and get set up for the next season in this case for the spring and summer time frame.”

Many of the items that are not sold are donated to local charities. The event runs until 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
