A memorial service will take place Sunday for the Wayne County woman found dead a little more than a week ago.
18-year-old Selena Hidalgo-Calderon had been missing with her 14-month-old son, Owen Hidalgo-Calderon. Her body was found on a farm off Joy Rd. in Sodus where she worked. Owen is still missing.
The memorial service is being held Sunday, June 3 at St. Gregory Church in Marion at 2 p.m. That’s located at 3799 Union St. in the town.
In addition, a press conference will be held on June 5 at 10 a.m. in Syracuse by Selena’s family.
In the meantime, Selena’s boyfriend, 26-year-old Alberto Reyes is charged with tampering with evidence in her death. On Friday, federal charges were filed against Reyes, a Mexican citizen, for forging documentation.
