The man who hit and seriously injured two people in Victor in 2009 while driving drunk was arrested for Aggravated DWI over this holiday weekend.
Shane Marren, 44, is now in the Ontario County Jail.
Marren was 35 when he struck two pedestrians on Main St. almost 10 years ago.
He served prison time for the crime.
According to jail records, Marren was charged with Aggravated DWI this weekend because his Blood Alcohol Content, or BAC, was .18% or higher.
Marren is the son of Victor Town Supervisor Jack Marren.
“Whether it’s opioids or alcoholism, it’s tough,” said Jack Marren. “This time of year depression often sets in.”
