The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single car crash that occurred in the Town of Arcadia on Monday afternoon.

Deputies say that Adam Vanbuskirk, age 42, of Lyons was injured when the vehicle he was driving failed to negotiate a curve on Clark Rd in Arcadia. This caused the vehicle to leave to roadway, crash into an embankment, and roll over.

Vanbuskirk was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight where he indicated to be in critical condition.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Marbletown Fire Department, Newark Fire Department, and Newark Arcadia Volunteer Ambulance. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
