Prosecutor say the man accused of killing a woman in Sodus in 2016 have been found guilty.

Alvin Pinkard was convicted of murder in the second degree. He will be sentenced on July 19. Pinkard faces up to life in prison.
Pinkard was accused of killing 57-year-old Josephine Chiaverini at her home on Joy Road. We’re told Pinkard and Chiaverini used to be a couple.
Chiaverini was found dead after troopers were called to her home when she missed an appointment and a coworker called police.
