A man is facing murder charges for a deadly stabbing on Hoeltzer Street in Rocheser last month.
Forty-nine-year-old Alexander Baez was found dead behind a business on North Clinton Avenue on the morning of October 8. However, through an investigation, officers say the later learned that Baez had been stabbed on Hoeltzer Street.
On Friday, police say they arrested 23-year-old Luis Souclat-Vega for the deadly attack. He is charged with murder and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Souclat-Vega was arraigned Saturday and is being held in Monroe County Jail.
