The man accused of stabbing a Rochester police officer was arraigned in court Thursday morning.
Leon Roach, 47, is charged with attempted aggravated murder and assault.
Police responded to a house on Louise Street in September. When Officer Amber Grosch entered one of the rooms, investigators say Roach lunged at her and stabbed her bullet-proof vest.
Officer Grosch sustained an injury to her left hand as a result of the Roach’s actions.
Roach is also accused of stabbing one of his roommates and strangling another.
