We take so many precautions to protect ourselves in the winter, but what about our pets?
Experts at Lollypop farm tell us they can suffer from dry, itchy skin and chapped paws during the winter season.
It is recommended that if your pet is out in the snow, wash and dry them off as soon as they come inside to the get the salt off, which can irritate their skin.
Use moisturizing products to prevent dryness and think twice before leaving your pet in the car. Just as it gets too hot in the summer, a car in the winter can be like an icebox for your furry friend.
Remember, if it’s too cold outside for you, it’s probably too cold for your pet.
