The fourth annual Upstate Social Sessions, a locally grown social media conference featuring social media experts from Upstate New York and beyond, took place on Friday at the George Eastman Museum in Rochester.
45 speakers and 20 sessions focused on professional and personal use of social media, particularly focusing on the realm of of social media management, content creation and strategy. Breakout sessions included food photography, legal and ethical issues, video editing for social, starting a side hustle, and more.
Upstate Social Sessions was a day to inspire and educate the community on the value of social media in personal and professional lives. It is the largest (and only) conference in Rochester, NY covering social media.
